Norris News Janurary

We hope all our friends and family had a great Christmas! Our first Christmas was Wonderful! We were surprised with lots of things and Christmas cards from friends and family.

A special thanks to my sweetie who right after Thanksgiving baked banana bread and pumpkin bread, while I spent time with the members of the Temple, TX. Train Club. Running our trains at Baylor Universities Mayborn museum.

We started off our celebration in Round Rock. Where my sweet wife cooked Christmas dinner for all of us. We then opened presents and enjoyed a movies before retiring for the night. The following morning we loaded our things and Jake our Golden Retriever, and off to Waco, TX to spend a couple nights there with Sandra's parents and sister. We were greeted with more home cooked meals and treats.

WE ARE
SOOOOOO STUFFED!! Now we have to go back to our regular diets to get our waist lines back in order for swim suit season!

Norris News December 2008

Ho Ho HO! Merry Christmas ! Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday!
I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my In laws. They have been really excited about it!
We had Turkey and Ham, Dressing, Gravy, Green bean Casserole (Steffon's favorite), rolls, corn and Pecan pie. (Steffon was a huge help and Jumped in) Thank You Sweetie for Helping!!!!

The Pecan Pies came out great and they are sugar free at that. If anyone wants the recipe I will have it posted here on our blog soon. We then went to Waco to visit with my parents and sister. Mom, Dad and Sarah are doing great!I did some Christmas shopping, while Steffon was at the Mayborn Museum with dad and the train club. They displayed their layout for the public again this year. Will have pictures posted A.S.A.P.

Now we are pulling out the lights and tree. I got the presents wrapped and some baking done. We have a tradition of making cookies in our family several times before Christmas. Steff and I are mixing our traditions together and maybe even adding some new ones of our own to our family. Jake (our golden) is helping and hoping he gets treats in his stocking!

As for New Years I do not think we are doing anything but watching movies and making our New Resolutions list. Hopefully we will keep it( Yeah Right LOL). The list seems to get put on the back burner after a while. We will try!

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope this letter finds everyone well! We know we are behind on several letters and will catch up with this one and maybe stay caught up!

Steffon and I are doing great! We are enjoying day trips, antiqueing, hiking, we are planning on going camping soon, going to the shooting range when we can and taking our four legged baby(Golden Retriever) Jake out almost any place where we can take him.

As for getting photo albums together. I'm still working on that. Pictures are still coming in from family and friends and we are adding them as we get them to our wedding album. We have some pictures posted on www.facebook.com under Sandra Norris and www.myspace.com/goldens4rescue and click on the picture of Steffon on teh bike. If you have not seen them please look on either site.

We are planning a Starnes-Norris & Friends renion for 2010. If interested let us know. It will probably be held here in Austin at one of the parks and will be a cook out. If theses plans go through, we are asking that those who attend to bring a covered dish. All details are still in the planning atages. We will email everyone as teh plans develop at least 6 months before the event in order to plan for time off. So drop[ us a email if you aare interested!!! We would be glad to her from you.

In closing we hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

I figured some of the pictures and thing out. Getting my sweetpea to help me since he is a computer nut LOL. I love it when he helps me, not only do I learn something new. I get to spend time with my favorite person! We have been through alot recently so I think spending some time together is really important right now. I pray we can get through this rough time with out it being so rough. ActuallyI know we will ! God does not forsake his own children!
